On December 30 2013 Verizon delivered into the monastery Fiber Optic cable which will serve for the expanding needs of the Publications Office and Bookstore,  Seminary and new Phone System. This project began a few months ago. The existing phone system in the Monastery and Seminary is dependent on underground cables which over the years have been damaged by water. A few extensions have started to fail and with the new cable installed any new extensions and damaged lines will be replaced by VOIP systems that will integrate with with current system we have in place.
