Feast of Quick to Hear Convent
By God's Grace, the Sisters of the Convent of the Mother of God, Quick to Hear celebrated their 8th Feast Day on November 22. Thursday night Hiermonk Anatoly served a solemn vigil, the prayerful ectenias were entoned by Archdeacon Paisius and Protodeacon Andrew Doubleday. Friday morning Bishop Luke celebrated a hierarchal liturgy. The choir was beautifully conducted by Alexa Pavuk, the choir consisted of the Sisters, Julianna Maudiere, Katherine Mansur, Maria Pavuk, Rachel Wildman and Xenia Williams.
Liturgy was followed by a festive meal, enjoyed by all. Friends and neighbours attended despite the snow storm which started just before Vigil and ended after Liturgy!
