Visiting the Monastery

Please remember that this is a monastic community and that the church is consecrated to the glory and worship of God. While on monastery grounds, kindly show respect for the religious beliefs and customs of our community.

Dress Code

No one wearing shorts or dressed immodestly should enter the grounds of the monastery. Women wishing to enter the church are kindly asked to wear a head covering and a skirt or dress which can be provided for upon request. Men should not be wearing t-shirts or short pants.

Individual and small groups of up to 10 people:

Individuals and small groups of up to three people that wish to make an overnight or weekend trip to visit the monastery need to contact the guesthouse to make arrangements for their stay.

Groups of more than 10 people:

For groups of ten people or more before organizing a visit to Holy Trinity Monastery, write or call Archimandrite Theophylact ( frtheophylact@jordanville.org  ; (315)858-3914 or (315)717-2795 cell) concerning your proposed visits so we can coordinate with the guesthouse, kitchen, tours, and the museum.  Fr. Theophylact is the coordinator of all pilgrimages of four or more people to the monastery and seminary.  He will help connect with the other areas of interest.

If you are planning to stay at a local hotel still let us know of your proposed dates so that the Monastery can be prepared for your visit.
