September 6, 2011 was the first day of the academic year for Holy Trinity Seminary. After the liturgy a moleben was served before the Kursk Icon of the mother of God asking God's blessing  for the new school year. On the same day Archimandrite Luke met with the students of Holy Trinity Seminary  and spoke to them about the need to develop a right disposition and spiritual attitude. He advised them about the need to participate in the life of the Church, to cultivate brotherly love and be attentive to their lives so that their stay will be one of spiritual benefit. At the end of the talk  Fr Luke blessed the new students to wear a cassock and wished them God's blessing for the new school year. This year the Seminary enrolled twelve new students. The brotherhood wishes that  their stay at Holy Trinity Monastery be for them  spiritually rewarding and that their studies here are joined with a striving for the spiritual life.
