Beginning of Classes at Holy Trinity Seminary
Beginning of Classes at Holy Trinity Seminary

Monday, September 9,  2013 was the first day for the Seminarians of Holy Trinity Seminary. After the liturgy a moleben was served by Archimandrite Luke asking God to bless the undertaking of studies for the seminarians and that their life in the Monastery would be one of spiritual benefit. There are a total of thirty students. At 9am all the students met at the Seminary Hall where Archimandrite Luke welcomed  them and talked about the importance of spiritual struggle, cultivating the interior spiritual life, the practising of Christ's commandments in their life at the Monastery and Seminary, showing care for  others, and paying particular attention to the demon of criticism which has the ability to make one's life sour and fruitless. After the talk Deacon Ephraim introduced the students to the Seminary's new College Management System and the rest of the day was spent with students registering and receiving their class schedules. May God bless the beginning of the new academic year, that it be fruitful and that the students learn to live by the Gospel and Patristic Tradition of the Church, acquiring the knowledge to save their own and others souls!
